Dr Catriona Crombie is an expert in translational medicine, specifically moving research out of universities and into the commercial environment. She has worked for over 15 years in research funding in the state and charity sectors. Previously at LifeArc Catriona worked as Director in Technology Transfer, with responsibility for grant funding to academics and translational support and advice provided to other research funders. Catriona currently Heads up LifeArc’s rare disease Translational Challenge. The Rare Disease Translational Challenge will see LifeArc invest more than £100 million into rare disease research by 2030.
