Dr Mariam Sood is a data science professional with a diverse educational background and substantial industry experience. She holds a first-degree in Computer Engineering, master’s in Computer Science and Cognitive Neuroscience, and a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience. With over 13 years of experience in the software industry and seven years in data science, Dr Sood has developed a broad skill set and a deep understanding of technology and data. In her current role as a senior data scientist at NICE, she focuses on the practical application of Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to improve processes in guidance production and maintenance. She also actively participates in shaping her organisation’s AI practices, contributing to AI strategy and the ongoing evolution of AI initiatives.
