Elena joined Diabetes UK as a Research Funding Officer in the Research Funding Team at Diabetes UK in January 2023.  Prior to this, she worked at various healthcare charities in roles involving analysis and administration. She has a BSc in Biomedical Science and a Masters in Psychology. The Research Funding Team at Diabetes UK manage the application and post-award processes for grant applications. They welcome applications from a wide-range of research into the causes, prevention and treatment of all types of diabetes and its complications.
