Dr. Aaliya Goyal

General Practitioner, Occupational Health Doctor and Nationally elected RCGP Council Member

Dr Aaliya Goyal is a General Practitioner with a special interest in Occupational Health. She is a nationally elected member of RCGP Council, Vice Chair of the Midland Faculty of RCGP and past ICB Primary Care Clinical Leadership Executive in Health Inequalities, Ethnic Minority Health and Population Health. She has shared insights from across her roles through speaking at multiple conferences, including the 2023 Health Services Research UK Conference, and written contributions including  “Addressing Health Inequalities in Diabetes through research” published in in Diabetic Medicine in 2022. Aaliya has extended understanding of menopause at work with talks for the NHS Menopause Hub hosted by University Hospitals Derby and Burton, and more recently, the BMJ which shared her thoughts on how to cope with the menopause at work. In 2023 she was named on a list of the Top 50 Influential Muslims in Europe.
