Ben is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Social Policy and Intervention at the University of Oxford. His research focuses on the privatisation of health and social care services. Ben has published research on topics such as the NHS privatisation and outsourcing of children’s and adult’s social care in England. Ben’s broader research interests include the politics of healthcare, health policy and quantitative methods. Previously, Ben completed a PhD titled “Still Safe? Still in their hands? An evaluation of NHS privatisation in England since 2010. His doctoral research detailed the scale of for-profit delivery of healthcare and the impacts on health outcomes.
